By using idvcalculator.com at https://idvcalculator.com/ (“the site”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What the site provides
The site provides free calculators and general information about motor insurance in India. Results are estimates based on published rules and the inputs you provide. They are not quotes, offers, or advice, and they do not create any contract of insurance.
2. No insurance solicitation
We are not an insurer or an IRDAI-registered intermediary. We do not solicit, sell or arrange insurance and do not receive commission on policies. Any decision to buy, renew or claim on a policy is yours, made with your insurer or a licensed intermediary.
3. Accuracy
We work hard to keep rules and rates current (see our methodology), but regulations, insurer practices and prices change, and insurers have discretion over many figures. Always rely on your insurer’s quote, policy schedule and policy wording.
4. Acceptable use
- You may use the calculators and read the guides for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to them.
- You may not copy substantial parts of the content, scrape the site, embed the calculators on another site, or use the site in a way that harms its operation, without written permission.
- You must not submit unlawful, abusive or misleading content through our forms.
5. Intellectual property
The text, calculators, design and logo of idvcalculator.com are our property or used with permission. Insurer and product names mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.
6. Third-party links and ads
The site may link to other websites and show ads. We are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
7. Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its results, including any difference between our estimates and an insurer’s quote or claim settlement.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated version. Contact: send.wakeno@gmail.com.
